“What? Again?”
A female voice, quite young, but not clear and lovely; rather, it was a slightly deep voice carrying a hint of annoyance in the question.
It was Tuyet Yen’s voice, but why was she annoyed?
“Those hounds of Death are truly running wild, daring to beat people in my own territory. They must be tired of living!”
It turned out that Death’s subordinates (the top boss of the underworld) had come to her bar to cause trouble again.
This wasn’t the first time, but for minor disputes, she usually didn’t bother. But now they dared to lay hands on her gang members? That wouldn’t be easy.
With that, she immediately put on a face colder than the Arctic and left the gang’s headquarters for her bar.
As her older brother, Kiet already understood her temperament too well. He followed not because he didn’t trust her, but to clean up the aftermath for his sister:
“Go, there are about to be a few bodies for you all to clean up!”
Inside, it was a chaotic mess. The customers were all scared pale. Loud noises continuously echoed. Sa Nhi (Tuyet Yen’s capable left-hand woman, an orphan adopted since childhood, so close that Tuyet Yen allowed her to take the surname Sa as if she were a sister) and another man were fighting. It seemed the man’s skills weren’t as good as hers, but there were quite a few attackers, and naturally, Tuyet Yen’s people were also injured.
Vroooommm
The loud roar of a motorcycle engine echoed, then it sped straight into the bar, turning the handlebars sharply to appear in the center with an incredibly cool and spectacular wheel-skidding spin.
Stepping off the bike, everyone watched, unable to tear their eyes away. She was indeed very beautiful.
The fight thus temporarily ceased. Sa Nhi ran behind her. Seeing a small cut on her wrist, Tuyet Yen asked with a concerned tone:
“Are you hurt anywhere else?”
Sa Nhi immediately shook her head, indicating she had no other injuries.
She said nothing, only asked as gently as possible, even though she already knew the answer:
“Are you from the Death organization?”
One of them stepped forward, sneering contemptuously. This was also the one who had injured Sa Nhi:
“Yeah, so what? What are you gonna do to us? A woman wants to meddle in my business? Do you think I can’t take your life without anyone knowing?”
His accomplices burst into mocking laughter and added:
“You look pretty good, huh? How much for you two? We’ll pay for you, hahaha.”
While Sa Nhi was so furious she was practically fuming and about to lunge forward, Tuyet Yen stopped her:
“I’m just afraid the price is too high for you to afford.”
The other guy scowled, as if insulted. How could they, like this, not have enough money to pay for girls?
“Hmm? Looks like you’re quite arrogant and expensive, but that’s fine, I like it. Name your price, I’m paying today!”
A beautiful smirk played on her lips. These idiots had provoked the wrong person.
“FINE!”
A few seconds after that word, only a deafening scream from one of them could be heard. Looking down, there was nothing but blood, and a severed arm lying isolated.
Behind them, a knife, which had just cut off the filthy arm and was thrown by Yen, was embedded straight into the wall.
“Ahhhh, it hurts! It hurts! So much pain! You bitch, do you want to die?!”
After seeing their comrade’s arm chopped off like that, the whole group charged. She merely gently pushed Sa Nhi behind her, handling the rest of these small fries alone. In less than 5 minutes, all of them were battered and broken, lying sprawled on the ground.
All were dead, except for the three who had spoken to her earlier.
With a gentle, angelic smile, she approached the guy who had just offered to pay for her and said:
“I told you earlier the price would be steep, but you wouldn’t listen!”
He retorted:
“If you kill me, you won’t be safe from the boss!”
"Threatening me? I absolutely hate anyone who threatens me!"
The instant she finished speaking, his life was ended by a dragon-emblazoned knife.
She shifted her target to the second man, the one who had chimed in, demanding to "keep" her:
"What was it you said earlier? You want to 'keep' me? Sorry, but you picked the wrong day to go looking for trouble with women.
Stupid, die!"
After that, the second man's life was also extinguished, and all the customers present were struck with terror.
The man whose hand she had chopped off instinctively stumbled backward until he had nowhere left to go. He then clutched his arm, shaking violently, and stammered:
"Miss! Killing me won't gain you anything! What's more! You'll only make an enemy of the boss! No! It's not worth it!"
She let out a breath, then put on an expression as if killing them was utterly boring:
"Another threat? Did you see what happened to the last guy who threatened me?"
He was too terrified to speak, only able to nod, then shake his head in confusion.
She continued:
"Death can be pardoned, but living with your transgressions is not. You made my subordinate bleed, so!"
Ahhhhh, she reached out and gouged out one of his eyes, throwing it onto the bar floor. Even Sa Nhi, who had followed her for years, felt a chill run down her spine.
Ignoring his frantic screams, she grabbed his head, yanked it back, and warned him:
"Next time you lay a hand on one of my subordinates, the price you'll pay won't just be an eye and an arm. Oh, and go tell your Death, Blood says if he lets his dogs run wild and cause trouble again, then don't blame me for bringing down the Hắc Địa Bang."
Sa Tuấn Kiệt had arrived at some point and was enjoying the spectacle. When he saw her turn and walk away, he waved his hand for his men to clean up her mess.
He himself stood up and draped a coat over her shoulders, while Sa Nhi also produced a handkerchief for her to wipe her hands and clean her knife.
Looking at her now, she was no different from a fallen angel; truly terrifying.
