"This is a robbery! Don't move!"
"A robber? Is that edible?"
Ngan jumped down from the bed and pulled at his leg.
He bent down and said:
"You can't eat it! Now, kiddo, sit on the bed. Uncle has some business to take care of and then I'll be on my way."
What did he mean? Why was he playing "action" and not letting her join in? She was pouting...! Ngan still had no intention of letting go of his leg; in fact, her grip tightened.
Seeing that the kid still wouldn't let go of his leg despite what he said, he squatted down and carried her back toward the bed.
In his arms, she wrapped her arms tightly around his neck, turning his face pale. He slumped down onto the carpet, coughing violently.
Ngan turned around in surprise and asked:
"Uncle, are you okay?"
*You little brat, you see me coughing like this and still ask if I'm okay?* But if he raised his voice at this kid now, he would be discovered, and everything would go down the drain...! He patted her back and said gently:
"Haha... Uncle is fine..."
Actually, he was trying to act fine, but deep down, he was crying oceans...!
Ngan buried her head in the crook of his neck and whispered:
"Uncle, please let me go with you!"
"You don't like living in a mansion with fancy cars, but you want to hang out with a robber like me?"
"Because I think you're very warm."
Who wouldn't like mansions and luxury cars? But she didn't.
Ever since her biological mother passed away from illness, her father's personality had completely changed...! He no longer played with her or loved her like before, ever since he brought that other woman home.
She gave her father a son and a daughter, and her father only loved and played with them...
That woman didn't love her either; she even beat her severely. How could she bear it...? Her two half-siblings always shunned her and chased her away to beat her...
On the outside, it truly looked like the luxurious life of a princess, but on the inside, it was the miserable life of Cinderella!
"Find someone else, kiddo. Uncle doesn't know how to raise kids."
"It's okay, I'm already big!"
"How old are you to say you're big?"
"I'm nine years old already!"
He suddenly burst out laughing, making Ngan's face turn red with embarrassment.
What was wrong with being nine? Just because she looked small, she was considered a child? Was appearance that important? Half-pouting and half-angry, Ngan repeatedly punched his back. *Take that for daring to laugh at me!*
Having his back repeatedly punched by her tiny fists actually felt wonderful to him.
He had been highly active over the past few days, leaving his limbs and the rest of his body completely exhausted. Today, getting a back massage from the homeowner's kid felt incredibly relaxing.

"Uncle..."
Just as he was about to jump out of the window, she ran down from the bed and clung tightly to his leg, preventing him from achieving his goal.
He turned around, sat down, and asked:
"What's wrong? Can't bear to let me go?"
Ngan threw herself into his arms, wrapping her arms tightly around his waist, terrified that he might vanish in an instant.
She whimpered:
"Uncle, can I... can I go with you?"
*Ah, that hurts! Has this brat been training in karate or boxing? Why is she so strong?* Suppressing the pain, he painfully reached out to gently pat her head and said:
"Kiddo, I'm sorry! Uncle..."
"Aaaaaah..."
Suddenly, Ngan screamed at the top of her lungs, startling him.
*Is this kid crazy?* It took him a few seconds to process what her crazy stunt meant...
"Damn it!"
"Kid, you're good... *pant... pant...*"
He leaned against a wall deep inside an alley, completely out of breath...! It turned out this kid also knew how to scheme and plot to trap him.
When the bodyguards in the villa heard the scream coming from her room, they immediately rushed up to protect her. In his panic, he had grabbed both her and his loot and bolted...
"Fortunately, Uncle is smart. Otherwise, if I got caught, I'd be eating prison food more than home-cooked meals!"
"Nonsense! There's no way I'm going to prison before I've even got a wife..."
"So you don't have a wife yet? Uncle, marry me!"
