The primordial world: one transformed into two, two into three, and three into myriad things.
Myriad things formed, developed, and then simply vanished. This was the law by which everything operated.
From the Void, Chaos emerged – that was the Prime Origin.
Then it evolved into heaven and earth, Light and Darkness – that was the Second Manifestation.
After that, the first form of the world took shape – the planets. At first, there were only ice plains at the poles, storms everywhere, and thunderous mist across the sky – this was the Third Anomaly.
The foundation for the formation of myriad things was Time, Space, Life Force, and Death – these were the Four Primordials.
Then the elements balanced, forming a cycle of mutual generation and mutual overcoming, including Metal, Wood, Fire, Water, and Earth – thus creating the Five Elements.
Finally, influenced by the aforementioned elements, they transformed back into Nothingness – which was also the Void.
Somewhere near the ultimate boundary within Nothingness, a tribe existed, known as the Void Tribe. This place possessed dense Void energy. The energy was so intense that most creatures here were mutated. This tribe worshipped the incredibly potent Void energy without any reason. They believed that the Void was the strongest and the only true existence, thus they permitted nothing but Void energy to exist and would raze everything else.
The Nine Realms were located at the heart of the vast void region. This region was divided into three parts. On one side, three Realms lay desolate, swept by Void energy, devoid of any life force, enveloped by emptiness. On the other side, five Realms teemed with vibrant life, brimming with rich heaven-and-earth energy. The remaining part was the intersection between the two sides, where death reigned supreme – this place was called the Void Battlefield.
The Void Battlefield was where the war between the cultivators of the Nine Realms and the Void Tribe took place. It was clearly divided into two parts: one side comprised the cultivators of the Nine Realms, and the other consisted of bizarre creatures along with some cultivators who had lost their sanity, filled with evil aura, chaos, and bloodlust. Everywhere, there were clashes of blades, desperate screams, and frenzied slaughter. Surges of tempestuous energy from high-level battles spread everywhere, powerfully sweeping across the battlefield. On the battlefield, the blood of countless lives gathered to form numerous blood lakes. Though called lakes, they were vast enough to rival seas. Yet, in this immense battlefield, where corpses piled up like mountains, even these vast pools were merely 'lakes'. A few scattered corpses floated upon them, but they quickly decayed and became part of the blood lakes. From this, one could grasp the terrifying extent of this place. From within the blood lakes rose a pungent stench and vengeful spirits, severely affecting one's mind. If one stayed here for long, even those with unwavering willpower would descend into madness.
In the sky, streaks of light darted back and forth, locked in a struggle. If one could see clearly, they would observe nine figures pursuing and attacking a lone figure emanating chaotic and evil aura. Just as the lone figure seemed about to escape, a series of luminous, glazed characters suddenly appeared, exuding a lofty, superior pressure, as if gazing down upon all creation to suppress him. Then they transformed into chains of glazed light, coiling around the opponent to form an incredibly sturdy sphere. At this moment, among the nine pursuers, a young man in a green robe spoke up:
– Ma Yan Tian Zun! You’re truly something! To dare to tempt the living beings of the Mo Jie to betray the Jiu Jie, and now that you’ve fallen into our hands, where will you run?
– Heh heh! You have no idea how vast and powerful the Xu Kong Shen Zhu’s divine abilities are. As for this Chi Mo Fu Tian Formation? Heh heh! A small matter!
He finished his long laugh and took out a hexagonal block filled with terrifying resentment and berserk energy.
